Lifestyle Medicine
Lifestyle Medicine is a branch of medicine that focuses on using lifestyle intervention to prevent, manage, and treat chronic diseases and improve overall health. It prioritizes daily habits and healthy behaviors in maintaining and enhancing health and well-being.
What is Lifestyle Medicine?
Our 12-week Lifestyle Medicine program includes diet, exercise, and general lifestyle counselling. Through ongoing educational support using innovative nutrition counselling technology, our goal is to support patients in adopting healthier lifestyle habits while empowering them to take control of their own health.
To help facilitate ongoing support and education outside these clinical encounters, participating patients will have access to Diet ID™, a digital diet assessment and behaviour change platform shown to have great success across healthcare and wellness organizations in the United States.
Our clinic will be the first to offer this software in Canada, and it will be offered at no additional cost for any patients participating in our 12-week lifestyle program.
