Abby has always had a keen interest in mental health and wellness, and pursued a degree in Behavioural Neuroscience through Memorial University in 2017. From there, she furthered her education and completed her medical training in 2021 through Memorial University’s Faculty of Medicine. She then moved to Central Newfoundland and completed an additional two years of training in Family Medicine. She believes in comprehensive care and broad scope medicine. Since graduation, she has been working in a variety of clinical settings, including emergency medicine, inpatient and hospital based care, and community based collaborative care. She is very excited to be joining the interdisciplinary team and providing accessible, walk-in based services in St. John’s.
